VOTER REGISTRATION FOR PALMYRA TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS ONLY:
· Voter registration in person can be done at the Palmyra Township Clerk’s Office, 6490 Palmyra Rd, for Palmyra Township residents only.
· Visit a Secretary of State’s Branch Office.
· Visit the Secretary of State’s Website at www.michigan.gov/voterregistration to register online.
· Register by mail using a State of Michigan Voter Registration Application.

POLLING LOCATION: POLLS ARE OPEN FROM 7:00 AM TO 8:00 PM
The polling location for the Madison Public School District Election is at the Madison Township Hall, 3804 S. Adrian Hwy, Adrian MI 49221.
If you are a registered voter in Palmyra Township, and you are in the Madison Public School District, you must vote at the Madison Township Hall, 3804 S. Adrian Hwy., Adrian. The polling place at the Palmyra Township Hall will not be open.
ABSENTEE BALLOTS: PERTAINS ONLY TO THE MADISON PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT ELECTION
For those residents that are registered to vote in Palmyra Township, the absentee ballot applications and ballots will be sent out by the Palmyra Township Clerk. Those AV applications and ballots should be returned to the Palmyra Township Clerk either by mail, in person, or drop box on the door that is on the US 223 side of the Palmyra Township Fire Station, 4276 Rouget Rd.
For this election only, Palmyra Township residents can obtain an absentee ballot at either the Office of the Palmyra Township Clerk, 6490 Palmyra Rd. or at the Office at the Madison Township Clerk, 3804 S. Adrian Highway, Adrian.

Notice of a Special Meeting and Public Hearing of the Palmyra Township Planning Commission

A Special Meeting and Public Hearing of the Palmyra Township Planning Commission will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, 7:00 pm, at the Palmyra Township Hall, 6490 Palmyra Road, and electronically via Zoom, as allowed by the Lenawee County Declaration of Emergency #2021-11. The following is to be considered:
1. An Amendment to the Palmyra Township Zoning Ordinance, Article Vlll, Section 8.13, Solar Energy Systems.
The MDHHS April 19, 2021 Epidemic Order limits attendance at non-residential gatherings to 25 people. Palmyra Township will adhere to this requirement, allowing a maximum gathering of 25 persons at the Township Hall, including the Planning Commission members. When the 25-person limit is reached, individuals will be able to join the meeting via Zoom, using the following link.
