                                           VOTER REGISTRATION INFORMATION


VOTER REGISTRATION FOR PALMYRA TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS ONLY:

  • Voter registration in person can be done at the Palmyra Township Clerk’s Office,    6490 Palmyra   Rd, for Palmyra Township residents only.
  • Visit a Secretary of State’s Branch Office.
  • Visit the Secretary of State’s Website at www.michigan.gov/voterregistration to register online.
  • Register by mail using a State of Michigan Voter Registration Application.
  • The Polling Location

NOTICE OF EARLY VOTING PRECINCT AND Hours

August 4, 2026 Primary Election

TO ALL QUALIFIED VOTERS OF THE CITIES OF ADRIAN, HUDSON, MORENCI, TECUMSEH, AND THE TOWNSHIPS OF ADRIAN, BLISSFIELD, CAMBRIDGE, DEERFIELD, DOVER, FRANKLIN, HUDSON, MACON, MADISON, MEDINA, OGDEN, PALMYRA, RAISIN, RIDGEWAY, RIGA, ROLLIN, ROME, SENECA, TECUMSEH, AND WOODSTOCK in THE COUNTY OF LENAWEE, STATE OF MICHIGAN. 


Notice is hereby given according to the Agreement for Election Services between the County of Lenawee and the aforementioned municipalities and under authority granted in Public Act 81 of 2023, that the location of the early voting site for the 2026 Primary Election (with the exception of Clinton Township and Fairfield Township) will be the following:


LENAWEE COUNTY HUMAN SERVICES BUILDING

1040 S. WINTER STREET

ADRIAN, MI 49221


All qualified electors in the aforementioned municipalities have the right to mark a ballot and deposit the ballot in a tabulator beginning the second Saturday before an election and ending the Sunday before the election. Early voting will be available at the early voting site for the following hours:


  • Day 1, Saturday, July 25, 2026: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Day 2, Sunday, July 26, 2026: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Day 3, Monday, July 27, 2026: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Day 4, Tuesday, July 28, 2026: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Day 5, Wednesday, July 29, 2026: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Day 6, Thursday, July 30, 2026: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Day 7, Friday, July 31, 2026: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Day 8, Saturday, August 1, 2026: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Day 9, Sunday, August 2, 2026: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.


This Notice is given on behalf of the City and Township Clerks of Lenawee County, in accordance with Section 9.1 of the Agreement for Election Services between the County of Lenawee and the aforementioned municipalities (with the exception of Clinton Township and Fairfield Township). August 4, 2026 Primary Election

Office Hours on Saturday, August 1, 2026

The clerk’s office, located at 6490 Palmyra Road, will be open on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, to issue and receive absent voter ballots for the August 4, 2026, Primary Election.

Requesting an Absent Voter Ballot

Online and mail requests for an absent voter ballot to be mailed must be received by the clerk no later than 5 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2026. If you’re already registered at your current address, you can request an absent voter ballot in person at the clerk’s office anytime up to 4 p.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026.


Monday, August 3rd is also the deadline for electors who have lost their absentee ballot or have not yet received their ballot in the mail to request a new ballot. Electors must submit a written request to spoil their absent voter ballot and receive a new absent voter ballot in the clerk’s office.


If you’re registering to vote or updating your address by appearing at the clerk’s office on Election Day, you can request an absent voter ballot at the same time you register. If you request your AV ballot the day before the election or on Election Day, you must vote the ballot in the clerk's office.

Voter registration info for August 4, 2026 Primary election

 In-person voter registration must be done in person with the local clerk between Tuesday, July 21, 2026, through Election Day. Proof of residency must be presented at the time of registration.

                           

Notice of Canvassing for the August 4, 2026 Primary Election

               

Canvassing will take place at the Adrian Armory, Lower Level, 230 W. Maumee Street, Adrian, MI, and will begin Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 9:00 AM.  The Lenawee County Election Commission will canvass daily (except weekends) until complete.
