A “Special Meeting” of the Palmyra Township Planning Commission will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 7:00 pm at the Palmyra Township Hall, 6490 Palmyra Road, Palmyra, MI 49268.
The following items will be discussed:
A Public Hearing for the following amendments to the Zoning Ordinance:
- An amendment to the Palmyra Township Zoning Ordinance, Article Vlll, Section 8.13 Solar Energy Systems, adding an ordinance that addresses Solar Energy projects of 50 megawatts or more.
- An amendment to the Palmyra Township Zoning Ordinance, Article Vlll, adding a new section that addresses Wind Energy projects of 100 megawatts or more.
- An amendment to the Palmyra Township Zoning Ordinance, Article Vlll, adding a new section that addresses Battery Storage projects of 50 megawatts or more.
Renewable Energy Ordinances:
- Solar Energy Systems
- Wind Energy Systems
- Utility Scale Battery Energy Storage Systems
